With 33 days left, businesses still on Securence filtering or hosted mailboxes need a new provider now. MailRoute replaces both.
LOS ANGELES, CA, UNITED STATES, October 8, 2026 /EINPresswire.com/ — US Internet is retiring all Securence services on November 11, 2026, both their filtering and hosted mailboxes. After that date, no mail will be routed through Securence. Organizations that haven’t moved have just over a month.
MailRoute has onboarded hundreds of Securence domains for both email filtering and hosted mailboxes, and is taking on more every day.
MailRoute is a leader in hosted email filtering, since its founding in 2003. It replaces both halves of the Securence service: the filter in front of a customer’s mail server, and the SMTP or POP/IMAP mailboxes for customers whose email was hosted by Securence.
For organizations that filter Microsoft 365 or Google Workspace through Securence, the switch is one MX record change. Nothing else in the mail environment moves.
“The technical work is small, and we’ve done it hundreds of times now,” MailRoute CEO Thomas Johnson said. “What’s not small is the risk of waiting. Every week that passes is a week less to test, fix DNS problems, and move mailboxes with all their old mail before the shutdown.”
MailRoute is providing service free of charge to Securence customers until November 11, 2026, the day Securence services end.
Full migration details, including what MailRoute does not do, can be viewed at MailRoute.net.
